My Favorite Environmental Films and Books to Inspire Action

Watching The Cove by Oceanic Preservation Society 12 years ago was what inspired me to become an ocean storyteller and activist for the care and protection of our underwater world. We can’t possibly care for something we don’t know about it. When we learn about it, whether that be through film, books, groups, or studies, we begin to hold passion, love and care for it. When we care about it, we’re forced to protect it.

Here are my favorite environmental films and books that will open your eyes to some of our greatest environmental threats, maybe some have already inspired you to take action and to join the collective in taking care of our common home.
